Products we offer.
A variety of windows in different shapes, including: Double Hung, Sliding, Casement, Awning, Picture/Shapes, Bay, Bow, and Garden. All are offered in your choice of either Clear, Low E, or "SolarFlect" glass. A variety of glass doors is also available.
What "R-value" is.
R-value is an objective measure of how well a material functions as an insulator. The department of energy recomends an R-value of 26 in your attic and at least an R-value of 14 in your homes walls, excluding the windows and doors.
Why it's important.
The importance of R-value is that the better your windows and doors are insulated, the lower the cost of heating or cooling your home. Therefore, home improvements such as installing new, more energy efficient windows actually pay for themselves with money you would otherwise have payed the electric company.
